Magnolia (Waco), TX

This place has some of the most well-decorated Airbnbs I’ve ever seen.

I was immediately told who Chip & Joanna Gaines were and the wonderful things they'd done for the city. Because prior to, we just had the…well…Waco is seeing better days :).

Magnolia Market at the Silos is a stone's throw away from downtown. My first time in Waco we walked around the main building which is cute inside. I don't think we had to park miles away, but we did have someone stand in the bakery line which starts in Austin.

If you’ve been and need a reason to go again, they expanded the market in 2020. Six little shops now sit behind the main store: one for plants, one for clothes, one for accessories, one for cosmetics, one for gifting and cards, and one for the man tagging along. I took cute pictures of everything! There’s also a coffee shop, which we went to twice, and a furniture store.

You absolutely, positively need reservations for Magnolia Table. I mean, I’m aware I should have known this, but this time I planned to do our Magnolia stuff in the middle of the day, in the middle of the week, in the middle of October so we wouldn’t have to deal with hour-and-a-half lines.

*Sigh* It didn’t work.
